摘要
《献给爱米丽的玫瑰》中爱米丽的怪异行为,历来都是评论界关注的焦点。尝试应用Oaklander对尼采价值观(上帝死了)的解读去探索爱米丽小姐的悲剧命运,寻找她怪异生活的本源。通过分析她的客观价值、客观价值被打破之后做出的自由选择及做了自由选择后产生的困惑和矛盾,得出爱米丽怪异的生活是因她打破了一切束缚自己的客观价值之后产生的矛盾心理导致的,即由上帝死后的困惑造成的。
The paper attempts to explore the causes of Miss Emily＇ s eccentric life by employing Oak- lander＇s interpretation of Nietzsche＇ s assertion ＂God is dead＂ as the theoretical framework. By analyzing Miss Emily＇ s objective values, her free choices and the paradox between breaking objective values and making free choices, the paper concludes that Miss Emily＇ s eccentric life is caused by the paradox between breaking down her objective values and making free choices, that is, the puzzle caused by the death of God.
