摘要
儿童与成人认知学习风格不同可以解释第二语言习得结果差异。此前的研究主要关注语际间的影响,研究焦点集中在二语语音习得方面。研究对中国学生英语冠词习得的经验调查结果显示,成人认知学习风格对二语习得信息处理的影响在语法习得中也存在。这种影响不仅表现在母语与目的语之间,也出现于目的语语内知识发展过程中。研究提供的证据表明,成人二语习得者倾向于采用同化的手段来处理输入,这种认知学习风格对过渡语知识的发展可产生阻碍作用。
Stylistic differences between children and adults in cognitive learning can account for differential SLA results.Previous research mainly dealt with interlingual influences focusing on L2 acquisition of the phonetic system.The present study made an investigation into Chinese learners'acquisition of the English articles and revealed that influences of adult cognitive learning style on input processing also exists in the learning of grammar.Such influences occur not only between the native and the target language but also in the development of intralingual knowledge.Empirical data of the present study show that adult L2 learners tend to adopt assimilation to process input and this cognitive learning style may impede the interlanguage development.
