湖南东安的石雕神像艺术具有浓郁的地方色彩,它以东安的自然环境、重巫敬神的民间习俗为基础,与社会的思想观念和文化结构有着密切的联系,折射出特定的时代背景。社会结构、民族心理和审美情趣是民间艺术家们独特的思维方式和造型意识。它不仅反映了民众的观念信仰的变化,也体现了人们对美好生活的向往与追求。
The stone carving statue art of Dongan possesses rich folk color.It takes the local customs of respecting gods as the basis and keeps close tie with the local social ideological concept and the local cultural structure.It reflects its particular background of times,social structure,nationality mentality and aesthetic temperament,and the distinctive thinking method and plastic consciousness of the artists.It not only reflects the change of people's mentality and belief but also embodies people's yearning and pursuit of happy life.
