Correlation between Translation Quality and Self-correction in Translation

利用有声思维的方法分析了五位受试在翻译过程中的自我纠错行为。在对这些自我纠错行为进行分类后发现,理解纠错的数量与翻译质量之间呈正比,而粗译纠错和精译提炼与翻译质量之间暂未发现相关关系。

The study adopts the method of Think- Aloud Protocol （TAP） to inspect the self- corrections of five subjects in translation. It finds that there is a positive correlation between comprehension correction and translation quality, while no Correlation is determined between translation quality and the other two types of self- correction.
