过去时表委婉的认知分析及对外语教学的启示

Cognitive Analysis on Euphemism Funcion of Past Tense and Its Instruction on Foreign Language Teaching

英语一般过去时态在使用中替代一般现在时,使语气变得委婉一些,在传统的语法教授中被认为是一个约定俗成的语法规则,无法解释。拟从认知语言学理论框架,探讨一般过去时表委婉的认知过程,即通过距离性这个认知机制实现了时间域向心理域的映射。本文还就认知语言学提出其对英语语法教学的一些启示。
