A Systematic Study of the Auxiliary Verbs in the Analects

文章对《论语》中的助动词作了穷尽式的统计,进行了系统的分析研究,将其分为表能可、表意愿两类,从中总结出了先秦时代,尤其是孔子时代助动词的规律和特点,为研究助动词的演变和发展提供有利的参考。

This paper made an exhausting statistical and systemic analysis on the auxiliary verbs in the A nalects.Three kinds of the verbs -to express possibility, desire and need -are classified.The author summarized the regulation and characteristics of the auxiliary verbs in the Pre-Qin age and especially in the Confucius age. It provides the favorable consultation to research the evolution and develpoment of the auxiliary verbs.
