Significance of Scientific Development Concept for the Construction of Eco-harmonious Liaoning

辽宁省是东北老工业基地,在以往的经济建设过程中,重工业的大量存在给生态环境造成了沉重的负担。党的十七大报告提出了生态文明建设的观点和任务,其指导思想是"以人为本"、全面协调可持续发展的科学发展观。面对新时期的发展任务,辽宁省必须从实际出发,以建设和谐生态辽宁为目标,用科学发展观指导生态环境的建设。

As an old industrial base in the northeast, Liaoning bears the heavy burden of eco-environment which caused by heavy industry in the process of development. The 17th Congress of CPC has come up with the mission of ecology construction, under the guidance of scientific development concept in a people-oriented, comprehensive, coordinated and sustainable way. Faced with the task of development in the new era, Liaoning has to construct harmonious eco-environment based on scientific development concept aecording to its own state.
