公共图形标志标准化工作的若干问题探讨

作者通过其参与的公共信息图形标志标准化相关工作,首先,对当前图形标志标准化工作中存在的不足进行了探讨,指出了以"美观"、"营利"等为取向的设计方案和过多考虑设计者的审美价值或使用者的商业价值,会影响公共信息图形标志的规范性,并例举了4种典型案例。其次,作者结合世博园区公共图形标志标准化工作,以实例强调了自创图形标准化的两个要点,即以标准化图形为基本要素和辅以文字说明来解决自创图形的理解性问题。结尾作者针对上述存在的问题,提出了相应的标准化对策和建议:一是要加强公共信息图形标志标准化建设和宣贯;二是要开展公共信息图形标志标准化审查。

Public information graphical symbols are used to provide public with information. In this article, the author, based on relevant works relating to the standardization of public information graphical symbols, firstly discusses the shortages in the standardization of such symbols, indicates that conformity is affected by the design schemes which is oriented by other factors such as aesthetical and profit making demands, and brings out four typical inconformity cases. Secondly, the author, referring to the standardization works of public information graphical symbols in Expo Site, emphasizes two key points for the standardization of newly created symbols, Le. using standardized symbols as basic elements and using writing signs for secondary information will promote understandability. Finally, the author brings out suggestions to resolve the abovementioned problems： i） improving and disseminating the standardization system of public information graphical symbols, ii） implementing conformity assessment of public information graphical symbols.
