An Improved Wavelet-Ridge Extraction Algorithm

摘要 针对基于模极大值和基于相位信息的小波脊提取算法的缺点,提出了一个改进的小波脊提取算法。该算法利用小波系数的相位信息提取所有可能的脊点,利用小波系数模的最大值以及脊线的连续光滑性甄别出信号的脊点,排除掉噪声的脊点,从而加快了脊点的搜索速度,提高了脊点提取的有效性。相比于基于模极大值和基于相位信息的小波脊提取算法而言,该算法更适用于低噪声信号的小波脊线的提取。 Aiming at the disadvantages of wavelet-ridge extraction algorithms based on modulus maximum of wavelet transform and phase information,an improved algorithm is proposed,which uses the phase of the wavelet modulus to extract all possible ridge points,and discriminates the signal ridge points by using the modulus maximum of the wavelet.The proposed algorithm could efficiently eliminate the noise ridge points,speed up the algorithm and improve the anti-noise performances of wavelet-ridge extraction.As compared with the conventional wavelet-ridge extraction algorithms based on phase information and modulus maximum,the proposed algorithm is more applicable to the wavelet-ridge extaction of low-noise signal.
