超声显示不同钙化模式对甲状腺结节性质的诊断价值

Clinical value of sonographic calcification patterns in thyroid nodules

回顾性分析触诊或超声检查发现甲状腺结节并进行手术的1501例患者术前超声和术后病理资料，发现良恶性结节均可以发生钙化，且钙化模式分布一致，以微钙化最常见（n=207），其次是粗大钙化（n=142）；虽然癌性结节的钙化和微钙化率均明显高于良性结节，但作为甲状腺癌标志的作用有限。

The sonographical and pathological data were studied retrospectively from 1 501 consecutive patients who underwent thyroidectomy for nodular thyroid disease. The results showed calcification could be found in both benign and malignant nodules. The distribution of calcification models was similar in both benign and malignant nodules, with microcalcification as the most common pattern （n = 207 ）. Although thyroid cancer has higher rates of calcification and inicrocalcification compared with benign lesions, the clinical value of calcification and microcalcification on sonography is limited in predicting malignancy.
