The Relationship Between Thinking Styles and the English Lexical Semantic Representation Types

采用即时反应的语义启动技术,对思维风格与英语词汇语义表征类型的关系进行研究,结果显示,在语义判断任务下,不同风格学生在语义联想表征和范畴表征上表现出一定的偏好顺序,其中整体型学生在联想→范畴偏好顺序上最为显著。

This study researched the relationship between thinking styles and English lexical semantic representation types. It reveals that students with different thinking styles have some regular preference orders for the types of semantic representation, especially for the Wholist which shows a more significant preference order ranging from associative correlation to categorical correlation.
