The records of abnormal speech and language were scattered in different chapters of Shanghanzabinglun,among which there were 51 from Shanghanlun and 19 from Jinguiyaolue.These records had different descriptive emphases and modes with bright characteristics.The abnormal speech and language in Shanghanzabinglun,according to different descriptive emphases,can be classified into five types,including abnormal utterance,abnormal intonation,abnormal quantity,abnormal content and aphonia.The clinical significance of the abnormal speech and language in Shanghanzabinglun is important and embodied in reflections of etiology,pathogenesis,disease location,therapeutic indication and mistreatment.It is significant practically to find out TCM recognition on the abnormal speech and language from Shanghanzabinglun and serve to the clinic with its advantages.
