On the Establishment of Historical Principles of Justice with Chinese Characteristics

所谓正义,就是人类行动和结果的公平和正当性。按照正义的社会秩序去做应该做的事情就是善。通常情况下存在着两种善:美德的善和合作有效性的善。对这两种善的追求把人们分为两类,一类是优秀者,一类是胜利者。在资源配置和社会分工还不尽合理的情况下,如何解决社会劳动者共同体中的优秀者和胜利者之间的利益关系;如何让人们在合作有效性的关系中,按照正义原则分享劳动共同体共同创造的财富和成果,是我们构建和谐的社会秩序必须面对和解决的重要问题。

Justice is the fairness and legitimacy of human action. The good refers to doing what should be done according to the social order of justice. Usually there are two kinds of the good. One refers to moral excellence, and the other aims at the cooperative effectiveness. Due to the pursuit of the good, people are accordingly divided into two groups： the excellent people and the winners. Under the incompatible circumstances of resource deployment and the social division of labor, two issues are to be faced and solved in the cause of constructing a harmonious social order： how to solve the distribution issue between the excellent people and the winners in the social labor communities and how to share the wealth and achievements created by the labor communities according to the principle of justice in the relationship of cooperative effectiveness.
