略论大学本科英语教学改革

A Brief Exposition on Teaching Reform of College English

专科学校升格为本科学院以后,为达到英语人才的培养目标,教学改革是唯一出路。第一,根据生源特点,结合大学英语课程教学大纲,确定教学质量标准。第二,实施"分类教学"和"分层次教学",优化教学资源,提高教学质量。第三,加大投入,自行开发或引进大学英语多媒体立体化教学系统和自主学习系统,建立学生课外自主学习平台。第四,建立"基础课程+专业方向课程+文化选修课程"的课程模块体系,完善大学英语课程设置。第五,加强建设一支业务素质强、团结务实、拼搏创新的师资队伍。第六,加强教学常规管理,用规范化的教学常规来保证教学质量。

As Higher Vocational Technology College is elevated to a university, great changes have happened in College English teaching.Teaching reform is only way of fulfilling the educational goals. Firstly,we should make teaching quality standards in relation to the quality of students and course syllabus of college English; secondly, the method of classified teaching and stratified teaching should be carried out to optimize teaching resources and improve teaching quafity;thirdly,increasing investment should be given to build up autonomous learning platform,which can be made by buying or independent development;fourthly,a new course system,which is composed of fundamental courses, specialty oriented courses and culture courses, should be established;fifthly, to develop a teacher team united, hard- working, struggling and having good professional quality;sixthly,strengthening management of teaching routines to ensure teaching quality.
