Case Study of Non-English Major's Fossilization

本研究采用问卷调查和访谈相结合的方式,通过对部分非英语专业学生英语学习中石化现象的调查和统计,以描述性的方法对石化发生的时间和分布状况等进行个案分析,以能找出石化形成的原因,提出行之有效地突破石化现象的英语教学方法和改革措施。

The survey was conducted in a descriptive way as individual case on non-majors about the fossilization in English learning through questionnaire and interview, including the occurrence and distribution of fossilization, from which the author hopes to find out the actual causes of fossilization so as to bridge the gap between theory and practice and help overcome fossilization to a greater extent.
