Interests Boundary in Harmonious Society

社会公正是和谐社会的基石,社会公正需要构成社会秩序的各种要素合理配置和有机协调,其中合理而公正的利益边界是基础。计划体制模式下,国家、集体和社会利益高于一切,个体利益追求服从集体意志。改革开放以来,社会转型过程中人们追求个人利益成为普遍趋势。社会矛盾和冲突集中表现在不和谐的利益边界阻碍着和谐社会的建设,故而探索和谐社会视野下合理而公正的利益边界观念无疑具有积极的意义。

Social Justice is the foundation of the harmonious society, in which all sorts of factors should be assorted reasonably and organically. Rational and impartial interests boundary should be a basic start. In the period of planed economy system, the interests of the nation, collective groups and society transcend personal interests. The reform and opening policy enables people to emancipate their minds and seek truth from facts. Pursuing personal interest becomes social trend in the transitional period. However, there inevitably occur conflicts between personal interests and those of the nation and society, which impede further development of the harmonious society. Therefore, it is meaningful to explore rational and impartial interests boundary in harmonious society.
