数据库技术新发展

New Advance of Technology of Database

随着Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ／ｉｎｔｒａｎｅｔ以及Ｗｅｂ技术在全球迅速推广，信息业正从ｃ／ｓ的计算结构转向一个崭新的网络计算时代．如何在现有的数据库产品的基础上扩充和发展新技术，以支持网络计算结构，是计算机技术新发展对数据库系统的需求．本文从ｃ／ｓ结构数据库系统的缺陷和新的计算机体系结构对数据库系统需求出发，论述了新一代面向网络计算的数据库技术的发展，并介绍这种技术发展背景下数据库管理系统新产品：ｏｒａｃｌｅ８０ａｎｄＤＢ２．

As rapid spread of Internet/Intranet and Web technology in the world,the Network Computing Architedcture(NCA)will replace C/S Architecture gradually in information system.To develop some new technologies of database is necessary for adapting NCA.Combining the limitation of C/S architecture with the requirement of NCA,this paper discusses new developing of technologies of database for NCA and two mostly new DBMS products,oracle 8 0 and DB2,are introduced.
