CAI Yuan＇s Yi learning was not only succeeding his family＇s thought,but also ZHU XI＇s thought,the connotations of human and thoery was a characteristic of his Yi learning and he emphasizes both image-number theory and its philosophical connotations of Yi.It has a high place in Yi learning of Song dynasty and has a remarkable impact on later generations.
