摘要
太平天国时期,在清廷动员下徽州团练应时兴起,其具体组织十分严密,办团之法很有特点。徽州团练的兴办得到了宗族和绅士的大力支持,且在徽州战局中积极协助官军,甚至独当一面,给太平军活动造成了极大钳制。徽州团练也给徽州社会造成了恶劣影响。
Encouraged by the Qing Government, Tuan＇ lien of Huizhou were set up during the period of Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and characteristics of Tuan＇ lien were then formed. With strict discipline, they provided good assistance to government officials and sometimes even worked on their own in defending their native places, They helped to suppress the Taiping army and played an important role in the defeat of Taiping army by Zeng Guo -fan forces.
