On the Origin and Evolution of the Hermit Poetry before the Sui Dynasty

中国古代隐逸诗的发展经历了一个非常漫长、曲折的过程。它萌芽于先秦,成型于汉魏,东晋时由于隐逸大诗人陶渊明的横空出世而发展到高峰,直至南朝,隐逸也依然是诗人们笔下的一大主题。在隋代之前,隐逸诗歌经历了四次大的变化。

Ancient Chinese hermit poetry went through a very long and tortuous process.It originated in the Pre-Qin Dynasty,formed in the Han and Wei Dynasties and developed to its summit in the East Jin Dynasty because of the great poet Tao Yuan-ming.It had remained as one of the major themes until the Sui Dynasty.Before it the hermit poetry had changed four times.
