非言语交际的顺应论视角研究

A Study of Non-verbal Communication from the Perspective of Adaptation Theory

Verschueren的语用综观说和顺应论为语用学领域的研究展现了一个全新的视角,对语言使用和语言交际进行了合理的诠释。但非言语交际行为(如身势语、副语言、沉默行为等)在日常交际生活中的表意功能同样不容忽视。然而Verschueren对非言语交际的顺应性并没有给出明确具体的阐述和说明。以顺应论为理论基础,研究人类主要交际模式的特点及分类,非言语交际的顺应本质值得探讨。在此基础上,可以进一步完善Verschueren的顺应理论,将非言语交际纳入顺应论的理论框架,并尝试性提出交际顺应论的概念。

Verschueren＇s adaptation theory displayed a new perspective in the field of pragmatics and it also offered a reasonable explaination for human verbal communication. However, non-verbal communicative behavior such as body lanuage, paralanguage and silence plays a very important role in meaning-expressing and daily communication as well. However, Verschueren hadn＇t clearly difined and explained the adaptation of non-verbal communication. This study aims to investigate the characteristics and category of human communication model based on adaptation theory. The adaptation nature of non-verbal communicative behavior is worth studying. Furthermore this thesis makes some implementation to Verschueren＇s adaptation theory and put non-verbal communication into the theoretical framework of adaptation theory and tries to put forward the conception of communicative adaptation theory.
