本文在现有异构数据库领域研究成果的基础上,针对网络环境中异构数据库数据共享问题,采用XML的异构数据库中间件技术实现异构数据库之间信息交换。把来自不同应用程序的数据转化到中间件这个统一的框架中,进行交互、转化和进一步加工,实现异构数据源的集成问题,以便更有效地利用信息资源,在更大范围内实现数据的共享。这一方法具有可扩展性好、跨平台特性、执行效率较高的优点,在实际应用中有着较广阔的应用前景。
