摘要
作为语言的基本单位,词汇往往承载着显性和隐性双重文化信息。用文化阐释手法分析和揭示文本隐喻词汇的文化内涵是文化语言学者提倡的研究方法。在英汉对比前提下,将文化阐释手法运用到《高级英语》课堂教学,既可以丰富教学方式,又能增强教学互动的知识性和趣味性,从而提高学生对原著的理解能力和欣赏水平。
As basic unit of language, vocabulary usually bears both superficial and profound cultural messages. To study this phenomenon, cultural elaboration is a positive means proposed by cultural linguists. Comparing English metaphors' elaboration with Chinese analogues in Advanced English classroom leads to teaching vibrancy, more active student-teacher interaction, and students' better understanding on native writings.
