The Investigation of The Chaoyang Temple Ancient Ruins

朝阳寺遗址是张家口市涿鹿县境内一处战汉至北朝时代城址,城址遗迹现残存东城墙一段,城内遗物以泥质灰陶残片为主。朝阳寺遗址经考证为《水经注》中记载的雍洛城,"雍洛"之义为漯水之塞。

The Chaoyang temple ancient ruins had been a townsite in the period of Warring States and Han Dynasty to Northern Dynasties, located in Zhuolu county in Zhangjiakou city. There was a section of east wall left and the mainly remnant in town was some grey pottery relic made in soil. Mter the investigation, people confirmed that the Chaoyang temple ancient ruins was Yunluo town whose meaning was the fortress of the Tahe River, which is recorded in Shui Ching Chu.
