The analysis on production efficiency is an important way to comprehend the technical progress and the technical efficiency of China＇s mechanical manufacturing industry.From the realities of China＇s mechanical manufacturing industry,this thesis,using the Malmquist index based on the distance function,try to measure the change of the total factor productivity,the technical efficiency and the technical progress,and make analysis on the result.
