On Medical Treatment Guarantee System of Han Dynasty

两汉时期为国家医疗保障制度初步发展时期,制度简陋。大体上讲,汉代医疗体系可以分为中央、地方、专门三个层次。中央和地方医疗体系,主要服务于贵族和官员,专门医疗体系是为完成特定职能服务的。民间缺乏医疗保障,只是在发生重大灾害时,中央和地方政府才提供医疗援助。

Han Dynasty is in the initial period of medical treatment guarantee system of China which system is simple and crude. On the whole, the medical treatment system of Han Dynasty is divided into three aspects including the central, the local and the special medical treatment system. The central and local mainly serve the noble and officials, the special medical treatment system aim at the particular mission . The folks in lack of medical treatment guarantee, just while sinking in disaster, can get the medical help form the central and local governments.
