从目的论看《红楼梦》金陵判词中典故的英译

English Translation of Allusions in Jinling Panci of The Story of Stone from the Perspective of Skopos Theorie

古典名著《红楼梦》金陵判词中就运用了不少典故,这些典故包含了丰富的中国历史、文学及社会知识,意义隐讳又具有典型的中国文化特征,如何通过翻译传达其内在的隐含意义,同时又尽量保留原文的风格和文化韵味一直是典故英译中的一大难题。本文通过介绍目的论及其主要观点,指出目的论对《红楼梦》金陵判词中的典故英译具有很强的阐释力,可以引导读者来分析和理解《红楼梦》两个英译本中译者是如何跨越金陵判词中典故英译时存在的障碍的。

Allusion is the elite of language.Due to the proper application of allusions,the articles become more vivid.There are many allusions in Jinling Panci of the classic book The Story of Stone,which contain rich knowledge of Chinese history,literature and society,with connotative meaning and distinctive Chinese cultural characteristics.How to express the connotative meaning in allusions and retain the original style and cultural meaning at the same time has been a hard nut to knock for translation of Chinese allusions to English.This paper firstly explains Skopos theorie and its main concept,and then points out Skopos theorie can expound the translation of allusions in Jinling Panci of the classic book The Story of Stone,which can as well further lead the readers to the analysis and understanding of the ways how the translators of the two English versions of The Story of Stone overcome the difficulties in translation of allusions in Jinling Panci.
