摘要
舵是中国古代在造船和航行技术方面的一项重大发明。该文根据考古发现，指出它至迟在西汉时已经使用。文中还对舵的演化和完善历程作了简要介绍。
Rudder was a major invention for shipbuilding and navigation in ancient China. Based on archaeological discoveries, this paper points out that it had been put to use in the Western Han Dynas ty at the latest. A brief account of its evolution and improvement is also given in the paper.
