摘要
利用3G和GIS开发一个盲人导航系统,为盲人提供导航服务。该系统的实现技术主要是整合了第三代系统通信、地理信息系统(GIS)和全球定位系统(GPS)。
As numerous applications can be derived from the third generation mobile eommunieation technology, this thesis is about the research on developing the navigation system for the blind by leveraging on 3G and GIS. Such a system enables direction givers to direct the blind, allowing the blind to travel alone. The technology of the system mainly integrates the third generation system communication, the geographic information system （GIS） and the global positioning system （GPS）.
