The Secret of the Magic Gourd is a fairy-tale book which Zhang Tianyi the famous Chinese writer wrote in 1950s.In 2007,the original story was adapted to a film made by Walter Disney and China Film Group Corporation.Why Disney chose this one？ Compared to the other works of Zhang Tianyi＇s,such as Big Lin and Little Lin,the Two Brothers,in which the profound ideology and strong instruction were playing the leading role,The Secret of the Magic Gourd began to show us a valuable quality of children-based ideas.This endowed the character of the magic gourd a kind of complexity.And the complexity helped to break through the restrictions of ideology and cognition in return;as a result,the whole work was provided with a precious classic trait which could surpass the time and regions and be disseminated in and taken by different countries and cultures.
