宋与高丽时期的海外贸易是中朝贸易史上相当重要的一段时期,其中所载的官方交易物品不仅包括衣带、仪仗物、布帛、金银铜器、土特产等多种类别,而且绝大多数都是制作精良的名优产品。由于这些交易物体现了不同于民间交易物的"朝贡"色彩,并反映了宋丽两国独特的社会经济状况和文化联系,同时显示出了当时的海外贸易网络属性,因而成为宋丽两国社会经济史和海外贸易史研究中的一个重要补充。

The overseas trade between Song and Gaoli is of much significance in the foreign trade history between China and the Korea peninsula,and several official missives provide valuable details concerning the commodities,supplementing the sketchy records in the non-official trade.These commodities consist of clothing,guarding warriors,textile,metal ware and local specialty,almost well-known for their high quality.Furthermore,they demonstrate the ＂tribute＂ meaning different from the private trade,and mirror the particular social economic history and the cultural connection between the two countries,and display the net trait of the overseas trade at that time.
