NUMERICAL MODELLING OF STORM SURGES IN THE OPEN SEA AREA OF THE ZHUJIANG(PEARL)RIVER MOUTH

摘要 采用二维全流浅水波动方程和Leendertse的交替方向隐格式,对珠江口外海发生较大增水的7次台风进行了数值模拟。 经多次试验,选定拖曳系数与空气密度之积为一常数pa·CD=2.5×10^(-6)g/cm^3。同时,在一般情况下,取台风半径R=95km,但对影响范围较小的8309次台风,取R=60km。模拟所得增水过程与实测值符合得较好。在所有模拟结果中,最高增水偏差小于10cm的占65%,小于20cm的占71%,小于30cm的占94%, A two-dimensional total current shallow water equation and Leendertsc's ADI difference scheme are employed for the numerical simulation of 7 strong typhoon-induced storm surges in the sea off the Pearl River Mouth. After many numerical experiments, the product of the drag coefficient and air density is chosen as a constant, i.e. PaCD = 2.5×10~6g/Cm3, while the typhoon radius is chosen as 95km except for typhoon No.8309, whose coverage is relatively small and R is taken as 60km, The model well reproduces the observed coastal set-up of water. 65% of the deviations of the modeled peak value of set-up of water from the observed ones are below 10cm, 74% are below 20cm and 94% below 30cm.
