摘要
The styrene-acrylic emulsions were synthesized by microemulsion method using styrene,butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate(APS as initiator and MS-1 as surfactant).The mechanism of particle size growing were investigated through analyzing the emulsion particle size and distribution vary.The result show that the most possible nucleation mechanism are both homogeneous and micellar nucleation mechanism.Furthermore,The effects of reaction parameters on particle size and polydispersed index(PDI) were studied.Emulsion particles grew with the conversion,and became smaller as concentration of surfactant and initiator and reaction temperature increased.
