A method for the determination of methanol and fusel oil in Chinese spirits by gas chromatography was developed, Direct-injection technique and capillary column GC was used to determination of a gas chromatography equipped with FID. The recovery methanol asnd were 97. 9% and 97. 1%. The method is simple, rapid and accarate.
