The characteristics of MathCAD, a mathematical software, in the vehicle performance and the possibility of applicating in calculation were described, and the example of calculation of a off-road vehicle chassis was used to illustrate the advantage of MathCAD calculations for vehicle performance, intuitive, easy handling as well as the computing and graphics integration.
