语言符号任意性与象似性的辨证统一关系

Dialectical relation between arbitrariness and iconicity of linguistic sign

语言符号是语言学家研究的重点,而语言符号所具有的性质更是语言学家所关注的焦点。本文对索绪尔提出语言符号任意性(绝对任意性和相对任意性)进行全面分析,并且与现今认知语言学家所提出的语言符号象似性进行比较,认为语言符号任意性或象似性处于绝对支配地位是片面的,二者之间是相互依存的辨证统一关系。

Linguistic signs are the focus studied by linguists, especially the characters of linguistic signs. This paper analyzes the arbitrariness of linguistic sign, proposed by Saussure, （including absolute arbitrariness and relative arbitrariness）, and compares it with iconicity of linguistic sign proposed by modern cognitive linguists and draws the conclusion that neither of them is absolute and they are dialectical.
