公元10世纪中叶之前,今天的越南中北部地区隶属于中国中原政府所直接管辖的范围。公元968年,越南立国,之后仍然与中国封建王朝保持着长期的宗藩关系。中越两国之间的关系可谓源远流长。其开国传说即包含着浓厚的中国文化元素。鸿庞氏传说和安阳王的传说无不打上了深深的中国文化的烙印。

Vietnam was ruled directly by China＇ s governments before the middle of 10th century. In 968, Vietnam built its own country, in the meanwhile, it had had very connection with Chinese dynasties. That is to say, Vietnam and China had a very close and tide relationship in history. Its country-building stories come from China＇s and contain a lot of Chinese elements. Hongpangshi and Anyangwang are the two typical legends of country-building for Vietnam.
