Expression of Neural Cell Adhesion Molecule in 49 Cases with Salivary Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma and its Significance

摘要 [目的]探讨神经细胞黏附分子(NCAM)在涎腺腺样囊性癌(SACC)中的表达及临床意义。[方法]应用免疫组织化学方法检测49例涎腺腺样囊性癌中NCAM的表达情况。[结果]NCAM阳性表达率为57.14%(28/49)。NCAM在涎腺腺样囊性癌的表达与患者性别、肿瘤部位、原发灶分期无相关性。NCAM阳性表达率在管状型与实性型有显著性差异(χ2=4.07,P=0.04)。有无神经侵犯NCAM阳性表达存在显著性差异(χ2=10.02,P<0.05)。[结论]神经细胞黏附分子与涎腺腺样囊性癌的神经侵袭性显著相关,NCAM在SACC中起到了重要作用。 [Purpose]To investigate expression of neural cell adhesion molecule (NCAM) in salivary adenoid cystic carcinoma(SACC) and its clinical significance. [Methods] The expression of NCAM in 49 cases with SACC was detected by immunohistochemical technique. [Results] The positive rate of NCAM was 57.14%(28/49). NCAM expression was not related to gender, tumor site and staging. NCAM expressions in SACC tubular subtype and in solid subtype were significantly different (χ2=4.07,P=0.04). NCAM expression with neural invasion was significantly higher than that without neural invasion (P〈0.05). [Conclusion] The NCAM closely correlates to neural invasion in SACC. NCAM plays an important role in neural invasion of SACC.
