Based on the theoretic review of corporate governance, this article extended into the area of further strengthening corporate governance within banks, from a more practical perspective. The focus is laid on the loopholes and challenges of banks＇ corporate governance, which were unveiled in the global financial crisis. In the mean time, the author gives detailed descriptions on the latest and internationally recognized understandings in this specific area, supplemented with his own revelations.
