The basic principle, merits and demerits, style and influencing factors of air-lift loop reactor are introduced. The current application status and progress of air-lift loop reactor at home and abroad are reviewed. The research shows that with advantages of simple structure, high mass transfer efficiency and low energy consumption, air-lift loop reactor has good application prospect in wastewater treatment.
