苯妥英钠和甲状腺素的关系

The relationship between phenytoin sodium and thyroid hormone

目的:研究苯妥英钠和甲状腺素之间的关系.方法:测定29例单用苯妥英钠病人的血清甲状腺素.结果:其中1例FT_4低于正常值,2例TT_4低于正常值,所有病人没有甲状腺功能低下的临床表现.结论:选用苯妥英钠作为抗癫(?)药物时需考虑与内分泌疾病的关系.对甲状腺功能低下的病人尽量不用苯妥英钠.应用苯妥英钠治疗癫癎的病人一般不需加用甲状腺素.

AIM : To study the relationship between phenytoin sodium and thyroid hor-mone. MRTHODS:In this study,the thyroid hormone level was tested in 29 patients treated with phenytoin sodium only. RESULTS:It was found that 1 FT4 level and 2 TT4 levels were lower than the normal range. None of the 29 patients had clinical picture of hypothyroidism. CONCLUSION :So the relationship between phenytoin sodium and endocrine diseases should be concerned while select the phenytoin sodium as an anti-epileptic drugs. It is recommended not to use this medicine in patients with hypothyroidism. To the patients using phenytoin so-dium,it normally does not need to add thyroxin.
