摘要
针对我国目前词汇教学只重视词形与语义的现象,本文从词汇的构造、语法、意义、搭配、频率及语体特征等方面探讨了词汇教学的层面问题,并尝试利用语料库对"pro-mote"一词在以上几方面开展相应的教学活动。
Currently in the vocabulary classroom in China teachers tend to only emphasize the teaching of forms and meanings.To improve vocabulary teaching,the present study explores an approach to incorporating word structure,grammatical patterns,meaning,collocation,word frequency and socialstylistic analyses into the teaching of vocabulary.The approach is exemplified through the teaching of the word 'promote',assisted by corpus.
