On the creative spirit of academic in the modern university

当代大学应成为学术创新的特殊组织。从大学自身的特殊性、名牌大学的成功经验、建设一流大学的呼唤等方面看,大学弘扬学术创新精神具有迫切性。弘扬当代大学的学术创新精神,必须贯彻科学发展观,以强化科研地位为起点,以建设通识课程为基础,以培养人文精神为关键,以改革评价方式为核心。

The modern university should become the unique organization for academic creation.According to the nature of the university,experiences of successful universities,and the requirement of establishing the first-class university,there is an urgent need to promote the creative academic-spirit in universities.In order to carry forward the creative academic-spirit in universities,we must thoroughly implement the scientific concept of development,and have the emphasis on the role of scientific research as the starting-point,the building of the common-knowledge courses as the basis,the establishment of humanistic spirit as the focus,and the reformation of evaluating methods as our core task.
