肥胖与糖尿病发病的关系

The Relationship Between Obesity and the Incidence of Diabetes Mellitus

为了解肥胖与糖尿病发生的关系，采用问卷与体检的方法，对天津市２１９８７名成年男性及２４２２１名成年女性的人体质量指数（ＢＭＩ）及糖尿病（ＤＭ）患病率进行了调查研究，结果发现：男性ＢＭＩ＜２５者，ＤＭ患病率为１０．５３‰，而≥２５者，患病率为２２．３３‰，两者差异非常显著（Ｐ＜０．０１）。女性ＢＭＩ＜２５者，ＤＭ患病率为１２．１４‰，而ＢＭＩ≥２５者，患病率为２８．６２‰，其两者差异也非常显著（Ｐ＜０．０１）。

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between the obesity and the incidence of DM.We investigated 21 987 men and 24 221 women in Tianjin on the body mass index and prevalence rate of DM,adopting inquirement and physical examination in 1991.The results showed that the prevalence rate of DM in BMI<25 male group was 10 53‰,22 33‰ in BMI≥25 male group.The difference between the two groups is very significant( P <0 01).The prevalence rate of DM in BMI<25 female group is 12 14‰,28 62‰ in BMI≥25 female group.The difference between the two groups is very significant( P <0 01).The results showed that the obesity can increase the prevalence rate of DM.
