Authentication for the mobile host on the network layer

研究了基于互联网的移动计算网络的安全性问题．首先根据移动计算网络的实际应用情况提出基于网络层的安全协议设计要求，然后依据移动计算网络漫游协议的特点设计了适用于漫游主机及移动代理的双向认证协议，并对协议的性能进行了分析．分析表明，双向认证协议具有结构简单、安全性高的特点。

This paper studies the network layer security issues of the mobile computing network based on the Internet. First, requirements for the security protocol are presented after an investigation in the host roaming protocol. Then, a two way authentication protocol that is designed for a roaming host and its mobile agents is proposed. Analysis shows that the protocol is of simple structure, good security, and is applicable to the environment of the mobile computing networks.
