摘要
ATM网络能够提供话音、视频和数据等不同类型的业务,而不同的业务类型有不同的业务质量要求.ATM业务量管理机制能使ATM网络在综合不同类型业务的同时,达到预期的网络性能和链路利用率.综述了ATM业务量管理的基本方法,比较了连接接纳控制的不同带宽分配机制对网络性能以及不同排队算法对网络链路利用率的影响.结果证明:在满足网络性能和提高信道利用率方面。
ATM Networks can support various services such as voice, video and data with different QoS (Quality of Service) requirements. ATM traffic management allows networks to support traffic with varying performance requirements and to fully utilize the available network bandwidth. This paper outlines the ATM traffic management, and shows how to guarantee the network performance and high bandwidth utilization. The results of comparing the different kinds of queuing algorithm show that the single queuing per VC algorithm can provide the best QoS and the highest network utilization.
