Cao Yu＇s early stage experience exerted a profound impact upon his later drama creation.The impact can be exhibited in the following aspects ： employment of performance scenes, excellent command of stage directions, character portrayal, the selection of language in line with the character and awareness of the audience＇s reception. Rich stage experience paves the way for his success in drama creation.
