Commentary on W. G. Vincenti's Thought about Engineering Knowledge

摘要 本文对温森蒂工程认识论思想进行了系统研究。温森蒂立足于丰富而详细的航空技术发展史案例研究,融汇了经验的、方法论的、社会学的以及认识论的多重视角,并在批判地吸收传统技术哲学思想的基础上,形成了其特色鲜明的工程知识论思想体系。温森蒂区分了常规技术与根本技术,并通过对常规技术的分析,对工程知识及其活动进行了分类和相关性研究,并基于此提出了工程知识增长机制的"变化-选择"模型。 This paper systematicaly reviews Vincenti's engineering thought about engineering knowledge. Based on the rich and detailed history of aviation technology,case studies,Vincenti fused the experience,methodology,and sociology as well as the epistemology of multiple perspectives,critically absorbed the traditional philosophy of technology to create its distinctive theory of engineering knowledge. Vincenti distinguished between normal technology and radical one,classified and researched engineering knowledge and its activities through analysising normal technology,and based on which proposed the modal of variation-selection of engineering knowledge growth.
