A Probe into the Theoretical Foundations of the Proposal of Sinicization of Marxism

"马克思主义中国化"这一命题内涵非常丰富,它的提出有着深厚的学理基础。五四以后,知识界逐步形成的学术"中国化"的共识以及当时部分马克思主义学者对"中国化"问题的论述,中国共产党人逐步累积成熟起来的有关马克思主义中国化的认识,共产国际七大关于把马克思列宁主义运用到"具体环境"和"具体条件"中去的思想观点,是毛泽东明确提出"马克思主义中国化"三个最主要方面的学理资源。

Sinicization of Marxism is rich in content, and the proposal of the issue had solid theoretical foundations. Mao Zedong’s explicit proposal of the sinicization of Marxism was mainly based on three theoretical sources: 1) the consensus on academic sinicization in the intellectual circles and writings on sinicization by some Marxist scholars since the May Fourth Movement; 2) CPC members’ gradually maturing understanding of the sinicization of Marxism; 3) thoughts about applying Marxism and Leninism to specific environments and conditions in the 7th Congress of the Communist International.
