摘要
在惯性制导用光纤陀螺中,用保偏光纤绕制的Sagnac环圈是其中的关键器件。文章首先介绍了保偏光纤中偏振光传输的概念与定义;然后,对保偏光纤偏振特性的表征参数:拍长、偏振串音和偏振保持参数(h)进行了详细的介绍;最后,分析讨论了h参数与偏振串音的关系。
The winded Sagnac coil using polarization maintaining （PM） optical fiber is the key part of the fiber optic gyroscopes in inertial guidance. This paper introduce the basic concepts about the transmission of polarized light in PM fiber firstly. Then the beat length, polarization crosstalk and polarization maitaining parameter h are described. Finally, the relationship between the polarization crosstalk and parameter h is analysed and discussed.
